Smadar Naoz's Home Page


I am a IAU Gruber fellow postdoc at the Northwestern University, CIERA.
My main research subject is to study of the formation and properties of the first generations of galaxies. I am also very interested in different dynamical processes that take place in extrasolar systems and in our solar system. More about my research can be found here.

I did my PhD studies in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, at the Tel Aviv University. My PhD advisor was Rennan Barkana. My main research subject in my PhD studies was the first generation of galaxies and 21cm fluctuations.

I graduated at the Racah institute at The Hebrew University. My Master advisor was Nir Shaviv.
