I am a CIERA Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Exploration in Astrophysics, Northwestern University, USA, where I carry out research in Theoretical Astrophysics. A current CV is here.

Research Interests

Extrasolar planets, tidal interactions in planetary and close binary systems, stellar oscillations, waves in rotating and stratified fluids, instabilities and turbulence, numerical hydrodynamics and magnetohydrodynamics, other topics in astrophysical and geophysical fluid dynamics.

Education & Employment

Independent research fellowship in Astrophysics with interdisciplinary connections.

February 2011– September 2011: Postdoctoral Research Associate at DAMTP, University of Cambridge.
Worked briefly with Michael Proctor & Nigel Weiss on magnetic buoyancy instabilities in the Sun.
