Erin Leddon is the Associate Director of English Language Programs and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Linguistics at Northwestern University.  After earning her PhD in Linguistics at Northwestern, she subsequently spent several years studying language acquisition as a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern's Project on Child Development.  In her current role in Northwestern's English Language Programs, she oversees the Integrated Academic Skills program for new PhD and MFA students, teaches English language courses, and manages English proficiency testing efforts for The Graduate School.  As Director of Undergraduate Studies in the department of linguistics, she advises linguistics students, teaches introductory linguistics courses, and helps develop programming for undergraduates in the department.  She continues to remain involved in research on language learning and acquisition across the lifespan.
