Hi, I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) at Northwestern University. I spend much of my days doing astronomy and planetary science research. Specifically I'm interested in the orbital evolution of the small bodies (comets, asteroids, etc.) of our solar system and how these populations can be used to figure out how our Sun and planets formed and evolved for the last 4.5 or so billion years. In addition, I've also started studying extrasolar planets recently. I'm interested in how orbital instabilities and the presence of binary stars (unlike our Sun many stars come in pairs or more) affect the formation and evolution of these planetary systems. If you're interested in the details of my work you can click on the links above to do a search for all of my papers or to check out a few cool movies I've made.
