Connecting to the Individual Page Server
To connect to the WCAS individual page server, you will need an SFTP client (Secure FTP). Some SFTP clients used at Northwestern:
AbsoluteFTP does not support Secure FTP without an additional plug-in.
Logging in
To connect to your site, use your NetID and NetID password to log in. You should use "faculty.wcas.northwestern.edu" as the FTP host. Upload documents to the "public_html" directory.
Your files will be viewable on the web at http://faculty.wcas.northwestern.edu/~NetID. Until you upload your page, you will recieve a forbidden error when viewing the URL in a browser.
