Erin Leddon is the Associate Director of English Language Programs and Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at Northwestern University.  After earning her PhD in Linguistics at Northwestern, she subsequently spent several years studying language acquisition as a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern's Project on Child Development.  In her current role, she oversees the Integrated Academic Skills program for new international PhD and MFA students, teaches English language courses, and manages English proficiency testing efforts for The Graduate School.  She also regularly teaches introductory linguistics courses for undergraduates. Her research interests focus on language acquisition and learning across the lifespan.
