Before starting the modules below, you should install the R statistical environment, along with the 'languageR' and 'lme4.0' libraries. (Note: All results in modules are based on lme0.9). You should also review sections 1-5 of this introduction to R. The discussion assumes familiarity with these technical aspects of working with R.
